Success at the WOMAA World Championships

The atmosphere was incredible when the World Organisation of Martial Arts Athletes met for the 2017 World Championships. Making the journey from Ardee to Dublin was a great group from the club, who had really put the effort in during the lead-up to the tournament and had been training hard.

And all that effort wasn’t in vain. Our adult competitors came away with a fantastic 15 medals. And the club’s younger members didn’t disappoint either, with a whopping 43 medals won by the girls and boys.

Competition days can be long and hard, but thanks to the great attitude of everyone involved, lots of fun was had, too. So well done to all our competitors – and a big thank you to all the family and friends who came along to support.
